Last week, DJ Anko Fiffz Enon, a prominent figure in Lira City’s music scene, has announced his departure from secular music to focus exclusively on Christian happenings. Known for his real name Enon Job, DJ Anko Fiffz has been a driving force in the local music industry since his debut in 2018.
Anko Fiffz’s decision has sparked varied reactions among his peers within the DJ community. Deejay Val expressed support, highlighting the importance of evolving responsibilities and the arrival of younger DJs eager to make their mark. He also hinted at his own future departure from the industry to prioritize family and spirituality.
“Personally, I don’t believe one should be in that life forever and to me I think it’s a good step as we grow older. We have responsibilities and we have to focus. There are other younger DJs that are coming up and they need the industry. They will take over from there. as for uncle Fiffz resigning at this moment, it’s not a bad thing it’s just maturity and choosing other options of life, I’m happy for Anko Fiffz and personally I will be quitting the DJ industry very soon to focus on the family and God” says Deejay Val.

Deejay Shad shared a philosophical perspective, emphasizing life’s evolving journey and the need for personal growth and responsibility. He noted that while DJing may be a temporary stop for some, newer generations are poised to contribute their energy and talents to the industry.
“We’re all on a journey with different destinations, so definitely deejaying might be a stopover for some time but then the journey must continue.
As life goes on you’ll realise that life will always keep throwing responsibilities at you so you’ll have to find ways of handling them of which at some point deejaying may not be so reliable and also you need look into the kind of inspiration and mentorship image you’ll wanna put in the mind of your subjects.
At the end of the day growth is a must and some moments must become history. Above all, the younger generation keeps coming and therefore they need space to execute their energy and talent through their contribution as well.” Says Deejay Shad

Meanwhile, Deejay BRASHAN cited spiritual reasons for his own transition away from DJing, echoing Anko Fiffz’s commitment to following a path aligned with Christian values. He emphasized the importance of spiritual growth and the realization of one’s calling, drawing parallels to biblical teachings.
“…he just realized his purpose and that’s why he moved out. Everyone has their own time for going back home to the Father and to do God’s work.Yonah denied God’s calling several times until God kept him for 3 days inside of a Shark and that’s when He accepted to go do God’s work. Am sure this is His time to focus on doing God’s work. I am happy for him and I am sure, I now have somone I can run to when having Christian events in my City” says Opio Brian innocent aka. Brashan
