Pato Lover Boy Vows Never to Cancel His Concert Despite Clashing Shows at Front Page Lounge

In a social media frenzy, conflicting shows scheduled on the same date at Front Page Lounge in Lira have sparked a heated debate among fans. Pato Lover Boy’s highly anticipated Obinen Concert and the Afro North Festival organized by popular event manager Great Stavens find themselves sharing both the date and venue, leading to a flurry of reactions from supporters.

Amidst the uproar, neither organizer has shown willingness to reschedule or cancel their respective events. Pato Lover Boy, who has been tirelessly preparing for his concert for nearly a decade, has firmly stated that he will not back down.

On the other side of the spectrum, Great Stavens is reportedly holding a press briefing at Front Page Lounge on Monday to shed light on the Afro North Festival.

The festival reportedly aims to celebrate African popular afro music and culture, with various talented artists slated to showcase their skills on stage. It will be held on September 16th at Bomah Hotel in Kitgum and on September 17th at Front Page Lounge in Lira, featuring Fik Fameica.

Musician Mrr Dee one of the popular musicians in Lango subregion is urging people to avoid tribal sentiments surrounding the matter, emphasizing unity within the industry.

Front Page Lounge management remains silent and has yet to issue an official statement regarding the two events. However, their latest social media post features the poster of Afro North, adding fuel to the speculation.

Rumors suggest that both Pato Lover Boy and Great Stavens have paid for the venue, with Pato Lover Boy reportedly paying UGX 2 million and Great Stavens paying UGX 5 million.
