On Thursday, IGP Abas Byakagaba met with officers from the Uganda Police Force’s (UPF) Forensic Services Directorate. Accompanied by the Director of Forensic Services, ACP Andrew Mubiru, Byakagaba emphasized the critical role of teamwork and collaboration within the force.
Addressing the officers, IGP Byakagaba stressed the importance of combining efforts, sharing knowledge, and fostering innovation to enhance their capabilities and meet their objectives effectively.
He highlighted that the synergy among the officers is pivotal for the success and efficiency of the forensic services.
Moreover, Byakagaba underscored the need for continuous training and skill development. He pointed out that maintaining and advancing the institution’s goals hinges on the consistent improvement of the officers’ competencies. By investing in training, the UPF can ensure that its members are well-equipped to handle the evolving challenges in the field of forensic science.
