President Yoweri Museveni, the Commander in Chief of the armed forces has ditched the first son Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba as the Commander of the UPDF Land Forces.
Muhoozi has been replaced by Gen Kayanja Muhanga who has been upgraded to the rank of Lieutenant General.
Muhoozi has however been promoted from Lt General to a full general the highest Rank in the UPDF.
In his active twitter account, the first son changed his credentials from Commander Land Forces to Special Presidential Advisor/Special Operations.
These changes come after Muhoozi posted a series of controversial tweets on capturing Nairobi within two weeks.
