The two-day event being organise by Awii Marketing Agency features array of traditional music, dance, art, and crafts, offering a vibrant showcase of the region’s unique customs and traditions.
Emmanuel Okello of Awii Marketing Agency stated that meticulous preparations are underway to perfect every aspect of the festival, from performer selection to venue arrangements and logistics.
As part of the pre-event activities, there will be visits to notable tourism sites in Lango, as well as engagements with cultural leaders and stakeholders to discuss the development and marketing of these sites.
Okello highlighted the potential of rich cultural sites such as Ibuje Hill in Apac, Bar Lonyo in Lira District, Otuke Hill, Kabaka Mwanga’s Cave in Dokolo, and Ngetta Hill. He emphasized the untapped potential of these sites to generate income for the local community.
The festival aims to provide a platform for local artists and performers to share their talents with a broader audience.
