Opoka Eric professionally known as Eezzy Music Africa will return back on stage in August with a full schedule of all his bands performing venues in Upcountry cities and suburb.
The “Tumbiza” Sound hit maker who has been off stage for months is set to return on stage to entertain his fans starting on 6th to 14th of August 2022 in concert dubbed as ‘I Survive Peace & Love Concert.
Eezzy has been off scene after he got ambushed by car thieves while coming back from a performance in Muyenga, Kampala on the 9th of April 2022 just five minutes after leaving the venue while on his way driving home.
He nursed a serious cracked on the skull after being hit on head with a compound brick by the unknown thugs all his shows were adjourned and others terminated.
The concert dubbed ‘I Survive Peace and Love’ will also mark Eezzy’s journey back to music industry since he broke through in the scene nursing the serious injury.
“Hello my fans, friends and family, I want to first of all thank you all for your prayers. A few months back I was attacked and hit on the head by an unknown gang and ever since then its been a struggle to get back to my normal self because of how bad the hit the head was. The good news is that I feel much better now and almost ready to kick off. There is a lot of violence in our community, so many people have been hurt due to all this violence and me being a victim of this same violence made me realize that I needed to use my story and my voice to influence in society to help preach peace and love to the society, help reduce on the violence in the society. It’s a campaign that starts with this concert dubbed ”I Survive Peace And Love Concert” still aimed at bringing unity in society and ending violence. The concert tour kicks off on 6th, August, 2022 in Gulu, on 13th, August, 2022 he will perform in Bweyale and then concludes in Lira city on the 14th, August 2022.
On the 8th June 9, 2022, Wednesday, a pronouncement was made through his social media handles where the celebrated singer thanked everyone who stood when he was attacked.
