The Information reaching us indicates that Lango Province sleceted team has touched down in Ibanda Municipal Council a heard of Saturday encounter with the Ankole Province.
The team comprises of a 25 man squad and 10 officials who left the mother City, Lira Thursday evening by a throng of fans who threw words of praises, chants and success unto the players in choruses, aboard YY Coaches.
The return match kicks off at 3:00PM tomorrow Saturday and will be held at the Kagongo Grounds situated at Ibanda TC.
The team traveled under the new management, Daniel Ogwal Engwedo as the new coach and Mr. Obira Bob as the assistant coach after the exit of Uganda Cranes legend David Obua from the coaching role over undisclosed misunderstandings.
It’s a tight game as it will decide on who to progess to the Quarter finals stage to join Kampala, Buganda, West Nile and Acholi Province who have already qualified.
It’s should be noted that their first encounter this season at Akii-Bua Stadium last month ended in a goaless draw amidst the flooded fans. This time Lango Province is away with few fans to witness the encounter.
