Celebrated musician Professor Maros has officially introduced his new manager, Winnie commonly known as Karamojong darling, marking a significant moment in his career.
During a press briefing on Thursday, Professor Maros shared the news with friends, fans, bloggers, influencers, and media personalities who gathered to witness the announcement at Amaflex Hotel, Lira city.
Professor Maros explained the importance of having a manager who can handle all his affairs, stating, “My fans have been asking who my manager is, and I’ve been telling them to hold on. Today, I’m excited to finally introduce Winnie, my new manager. From now on, she’ll be handling everything related to Professor Maros as a brand.”
He emphasized that all bookings, performances, and collaborations will now be managed through Winnie.

Winnie, who has an extensive background in media and accounting, expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to manage Professor Maros’ career. “I’m really glad to be part of this industry. I’ve always believed in the potential of women as managers, and I’m excited to support Maros in reaching greater heights,” she said.
She highlighted her experience in the entertainment industry and her commitment to ensuring that Professor Maros’ events and performances run smoothly.
Winnie also shared her vision for expanding Professor Maros’ brand beyond Northern Uganda. “I want Maros to be known not only in Northern Uganda but across the country and beyond. I’m committed to making sure his music is played, his concerts are organized, and that all bookings are handled professionally,” she added.

In his remarks, Professor Maros reflected on the challenges artists face when managing their careers independently. “Music is a full-time job, and it’s easy to miss business opportunities when you’re doing everything yourself. That’s why I’m excited to have Winnie on board to manage all aspects of my career,” he said.
The ceremony concluded with the official signing of documents, cementing the partnership between Professor Maros and his new manager.
The “Med Mac:” hit maker also took a moment to thank his previous manager, Prince, for his contributions and guidance. He also acknowledged the advice of industry colleagues, including Walter Pro, who encouraged him to find a manager.
