Legendary singer Bobi Wine and UNMF President Eddy Kenzo express deep sorrow over the untimely death of Northern Uganda’s RnB sensation, Munu Benard, popularly known as BeePee. The artist lost his life in a tragic accident on the Lira-Kampala road near Frontpage Lounge.
BeePee, famous for hits like “Akello,” was rushed to Lira Regional Referral Hospital after the accident, where he sadly succumbed to his injuries around 1 am, as confirmed by Voice of Lango FM Broadcaster Jimmo.
Bobi Wine shares his condolences, stating, “I have learnt of the sad news of Munu Benard “BeePee,” a renowned artiste in Lango sub-region who passed on last night at Lira Regional Referral Hospital. He succumbed to injuries he sustained in an accident near Front Page Lounge in Lira City. Sending my deepest condolences to his family and fans. May his soul rest in peace”
Eddy Kenzo, on Facebook, expresses his grief over losing another talent from Lango Musicians Association. He emphasizes the need for caution on the roads and calls for unity within the music industry during this challenging time.
“I also appeal to all my colleagues in the sector to try to be careful with the road and try to be careful as we pray to the Lord to guide and keep us alive.
