Edison Shaban Saba Saba, CEO of Blacks Power FC, announced a key preseason game scheduled for Sunday, October 6, 2024, while addressing issues that contributed to last season’s setbacks.
He pointed out the lack of publicity as one of the major problems, stating that many fans learned about games only after they had already started. However, this is set to change with the recent appointment of Abel Ogwang as the club’s Public Relations Officer. “We are working to ensure that fans receive timely and regular updates about our matches,” said Ogwang.

Saba Saba also revealed the club’s new pricing strategy for the season, introducing a flat entry fee of 3,000 Ugandan shillings for stadium access. Additionally, fans wishing to access the Pavilion will be required to wear the club’s official replica jersey, reinforcing the club’s identity and connection with supporters.
During the press briefing, the CEO emphasized the club’s strong roots in the Lango sub-region, expressing their ongoing commitment to serving the people of Lango. “Blacks Power is run by the people of Lango and supported by them. We are here to stay, and we have no plans of leaving unless all unresolved issues are addressed, which we are not in a rush to do,” Saba Saba remarked.
