Over 40 people were left homeless and four others injured after a heavy storm destroyed their houses in Pajule Town Council, Pader district.
Three children belonging to one Irene Adong, a resident of Lapete west cell says her children were injured all over their bodies, while she was injured on the chest when their house collapsed on them during the heavy downpour on Monday evening at around 4:00 PM.
They were admitted at Pajule health center IV.
Philip Bongomin, a businessman who operates a computer center says that he was yet to calculate the loss he incurred after his roof was blown off.
Brilliant Okello Tito, the Pajule Town Council Chairperson confirmed the incident saying that electricity lines, buildings and gardens were also destroyed.
