Nobody Cares What the Homosexuals are Doing – Bobi Wine’s son Solomon Kampala

Solomon Kampala

The eldest son of National Unity Platform (NUP) president, Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine and his wife, Barbie Itunto Kyagulanyi, has shared his thoughts about homosexuality, leaving many of his followers with divergent views.

Solomon Kampala, in his social media post, expressed his belief that the government should focus on issues affecting the citizens directly, rather than fighting homosexuality.

He further stated that the government should prioritize delivering essential social services like fixing the roads, hospitals, and schools.

“Nobody cares what the homosexuals are doing, fix the roads, fix the hospitals. Fix the schools for God’s Sake,” he wrote on his Instagram stories.

This statement by Solomon Kampala came at a time when the Ugandan Parliament has passed the Anti-Homosexuality Bill 2023. The bill has strict guidelines and punishments against the indulgence and promotion of homosexuality in Uganda. The bill has received a lot of backlash from the international community, with critics terming it as an infringement of human rights.

Solomon Kampala’s statement highlights an important issue that has been a subject of intense debate in Uganda, with some people believing that homosexuality is a personal choice and should be protected as a human right, while others hold the view that it is against cultural values and religious beliefs.

It is essential to note that the NUP party, to which Solomon’s parents belong, has not taken an official position on the issue of homosexuality. However, it is clear that Solomon’s statement highlights the need for the government to address other pressing issues affecting the citizens.
