Lawrence Egole the Lira City Resident Commissioner over the week have cautioned the public against false information coming in from ill hearted persons about FUFA Drum Lango games that is falsely said to be played in Gulu city.
Egole says while in the recent concluded training in Njeru Jinja, Akii-Bua Stadium was the most cherished arena, with excellent fans, and the national chairman (Mr. Drum) and all FUFA officials clearly said they can’t wait to be in Lira City for the stunning opening match between Lango and Ankole.
The Commissioner added that the public of Lango community should disregard the negative information coming about Amuka Team.
“Please! Disregard all malicious propaganda making rounds that Lango games will go to Gulu with all contempt it deserves. That statement is being peddled in bad faith, to destroy the home fan base”, Egole advised.
RCC Lawrence Egole who is also the Chairperson Lango Province Executive Committee called for the public to go out and mobilize the people of Lango to turn up in overwhelming numbers to support the Amuka Team.
On Friday, Mr Egole and his fellows Mr. Odongo Moses (Secretary), Mr. Ekwang Henry Cilodyang (Treasurer), Mr. Obote Dan Kagere (Fufa Executive member) and Mr. Obote Vien (Media Officer) completed the Football Administration and Management course (FAMACO) held at FUFA Technical Centre Njeru.
Don’t forget that on the 31st July, Lango Province will be hosting Ankole Province at Akii Bua Stadium.
