KENYA: In a disturbing incident that has sent shockwaves across Kenya, a woman has been accused of killing and eating the body organs of her own 2-year-old daughter.
The lady identified as Olivia Naseren allegedly stabbed her daughter, Glory Njeri, multiple times at their home in Kitengela’s Milimani Estate on April 23.
The accused then proceeded to cut her daughter into pieces before feeding on her intestines and kidney. The gruesome incident has left many Kenyans in disbelief and horror.
Naseren appeared before Chief Magistrate Jane Kamau on Tuesday where she was ordered to remain in police custody for 10 days to allow officers to complete their investigations. According to reports, Naseren had locked herself and her baby in their house when she suddenly attacked the minor as she sang lullabies.
The heinous attack was captured on video by neighbours who tried in vain to break the door.
