RCC Egole Urges Development of Infrastructures to Improve Services in Lira City.

Lira City Residence Commissioner, Lawrence Egole, has called upon the community to focus on erecting infrastructures that can attract better services in the city. Egole emphasized that Lira, as a developing city, has the potential to attract many investors. However, the current facilities and infrastructure in the city are not sufficient to convince them to set up their businesses there. He expressed gratitude to C-Care International for choosing Lira as one of their areas of operation, stating that this move will significantly boost healthcare services in the city.

Richard Ebong, a minister with Truth Evangelistic Ministry, acknowledged that the arrival of C-Care in Lira City will enhance access to better services. He noted that many people struggle to receive adequate healthcare in government hospitals due to the overwhelming number of patients and low human resource. The presence of C-Care International will alleviate this burden.

SP. Mathius Okwir, the regional Police Traffic policer, emphasized the importance of valuing life, as neglecting safety measures can lead to tragic accidents. As one of the few who accessed C-care service, Okwir commended C-Care for its excellent facilities in Lira and encouraged the public to utilize them for good health.

During the grand opening of the facility, over 200 individuals had the opportunity to experience the services provided free of charge. Many expressed their satisfaction and wore smiles on their faces as their problems were addressed.

Aisha Akello, one of the beneficiaries, expressed her joy and praised the facility for providing the best service she had ever experienced.

Abel Okao, a beneficiary from Oyam, also expressed his happiness as he had often been disappointed with the procedures and overcrowding in some hospitals, which put patients’ lives at risk. He felt relieved to receive better care at C-Care International.

Sheila Aboth, the regional marketing manager at C-care IMC, highlighted that the establishment of the facility in Lira City would reduce costs for residents who previously had to travel to nearby branches for services. She expressed her delight in finally finding a suitable structure to house their facility after planning to open a branch in Lira City for almost five years ago.

Racheal Kutegeka, the regional business manager of C-Care IMC, pledged to collaborate with government hospitals to ensure better healthcare and facilitate referrals for improved medical treatment.

C-Care International Medical Center is a multinational healthcare group operating across the country with 18 locations in the country, including the newly launched branch in Lira.
