His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni the president of the republic of Uganda who has not travelled to any European country in a long time has delegated the Foreign Affairs Minister Maj. Gen. Jeje Odong to represent him at the send-off ceremony of the departed Queen of the United Kingdom Her Majesty Elizabeth II.
The Queen is to be laid to rest today amidst a delegation of at least 1000 high profile guests and global leaders from different countries. Majority may not have a chance to see the moment when her coffin being lowered into her eternal rest place due to the large crowds that have flocked the streets of London.
Several invited guests including the US president Joe Biden will all stop at the 1 hour requiem mass held in honour of the late iconic world leader.
It is not clear why president Museveni has lately stayed away from European trips.
