Arsenal Back on Top of the League after Aeating Chelsea

Martin Odegaard’s brace for Arsenal helped the club secure a resounding 3-1 win against Chelsea, propelling them back to the top of the Premier League on Tuesday.

After last week’s crushing defeat against Manchester City, Mikel Arteta’s side were under immense pressure to regain control of the title race and they did just that in style.

Odegaard was undoubtedly the hero of the night with two superb goals, complemented by a Gabriel Jesus strike which sealed a three-goal lead before half-time at the Emirates Stadium.

Although Noni Madueke managed to pull one back for Chelsea in the second half, it was too little too late for the visitors who had a woeful performance throughout the match.

With this crucial victory, Arsenal now sit two points clear of second-placed Manchester City and have effectively reignited their hopes of clinching the title.

Although Pep Guardiola’s men are still considered the favourites to win the league, the Gunners have certainly applied some much-needed pressure on the reigning champions. It remains to be seen how the rest of the season pans out, but for now, Arsenal can enjoy basking in the glory of their impressive win over Chelsea.
