Soroti: President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has emphasized the crucial role of young people in fighting corruption, encouraging them to utilize proper channels to report and combat corrupt practices.
He made this call during the International Youth Day Celebrations held at Soroti Core Primary Teachers’ College in Soroti District on Monday.
The event, themed “Skills Development for Enhancement of Youth Opportunities,” brought together young people from across the country.
President Museveni reassured the gathering that corruption can be effectively tackled if Ugandans work collectively to address the issue.
He emphasized the importance of using official channels to report corruption, ensuring that efforts to combat it are coordinated and effective.
The President’s call to action aims to empower young people to take an active role in promoting transparency and accountability in Uganda.
