Hundreds of citizens from various parts of Lira City turned up for the 7th outing of the Lira Corporate Gala on sunday.Hosted at Lira Town College on the first Sunday of the month, the event comes with numerous activities, was another memorable edition for the community.

Attendees participated in a range of activities, including aerobics, football, and volleyball, tug of war, indoor games, and health camps. The event also featured bar businesses, free photo shoots by Fast Media, and entertainment provided by top DJs and MCs.
One of the highlights was the activation of Khazo Xrated Show Season Four, scheduled to take place on August 30th at Glass Lounge, celebrating DJ Khazo’s journey in deejaying. Additionally, the event celebrated the belated birthday of blogger Brian Skid, the founder of Lira City Buzz, with lively performances from DJ Khazo and MC Lucky.
Pius Owiny, the Marketing Officer at Lira City Elites Club, expressed gratitude to the attendees for making the 7th outing a success. He noted that only three outings remain before the end of the 2024 season, with this year’s edition being highly competitive among participants, making it hard to predict who will win the most awards by the season’s end.
Owiny also promoted the upcoming Uhuru Sickle Cell Run, scheduled for October 5th, under the theme “Breaking Barriers, Building Hope for Sickle Cells,” with Moses Kipsiro as the lead runner.
