Renowned Nigerian comedian and digital content creator Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, famously known as Oga Sabinus, is slated to perform in Gulu City for the first time at the Laugh With Owakabi Comedy show. The event, scheduled for October 5th, 2024, will take place at Acholi Inn.
Mc Kash Owakabi, the boss of Laugh With Owakabi Comedy, confirmed the exciting news to comedy enthusiasts, assuring them of an unforgettable night. “Make some noise Gulu. You have demanded, and I have delivered. Let’s shut down Acholi Inn Gardens on 5th October. Sabinus Live at Laugh With Owakabi Comedy show,” he announced.

Sabinus, who will kick off his performances in Arua on October 4th before heading to Gulu on October 5th, also took to his Facebook page to confirm his appearances in the two northern Ugandan cities. “Uganda ?? Arua 4th October !! Uganda ?? Gulu 5th October !!,” he posted.
Recently, Mc Kash Owakabi hosted another Nigerian comedy sensation, Doctall Kingsley, who left the audience in stitches with his jokes. Sabinus, also known as Mr. Funny, will be the fifth celebrated and award-winning Nigerian comedian to perform in Gulu, following in the footsteps of Klint Da Drunk, Oga Obinah, Dan Da Humorous, and Doctall Kingsley.

Born on January 30th, 1995, in Rivers State, Nigeria, Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, better known as Sabinus, began his comedy career in 2015 after completing high school. He broke into the industry in 2019 and has since gained significant recognition. Sabinus has also appeared in multiple Nollywood movies, including ‘Billionaire’s Bride’ and ‘Man of War.’
His talent and hard work have earned him several awards, including the Elite Nigerian Star Awards for Creative Social Comedian of the Year 2021 and the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Award for Best Online Social Content Creator 2022.
