Reflecting on their relationship, Barugahara reminisced about gifting Bobi Wine a cow as a gesture of celebration upon his election as the Member of Parliament for Kyadondo East in 2017, highlighting the depth of their bond beyond the political realm.
“You can’t claim to love my younger brother @HEBobiwine more than I do; I did his first show ‘Bada.’ I also gifted him a cow when he was elected to Parliament, and I still love and respect him despite being in different political parties,” Barugahara expressed in an interview with a local television station.
Despite his allegiance to the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) government, Barugahara affirmed his commitment to maintaining cordial relations with individuals across the political spectrum, including Bobi Wine and others in the opposition. He pledged continued support for the NRM while emphasizing the importance of mutual respect and understanding among political peers.
