Singer turned politician
Hillary Kiyaga alias Dr. Hilderman has set up a music studio to promote young talent in his area.
He shared pictures of the studio on social media and said he was largely pushed by the need to see the next Hilderman cropping up without facing the same challenges he faced years ago.
“I have been constructing a modern recording studio at my residence in Kalagala, Mpigi. I was so challenged meeting transport costs to Kampala, plus looking for recording fees for a good recording studio when I was beginning my musical journey,” he wrote
“I promised myself that the next HILDERMAN in Mawokota won’t go through hell to realize a big dream. Very costly, but worth an investment for the talented you in my home area,” he concluded.
Hilderman is among the entertainers who secured themselves a place in Uganda’s 11th Parliament after trouncing former Trade, Industry, and Cooperatives minister, Amelia Kyambadde in Mawokota North constituency.
