Ugandan singer Alien Skin has sparked controversy with bold statements challenging opposition leader Bobi Wine’s intentions in the country’s political arena. The Sitya Danger hit maker has taken to social media to challenge the opposition leader’s commitment to improving the lives of ordinary Ugandans.
In a video circulating widely on social media platforms, Alien Skin dared Bobi Wine to sell all his assets, including his house in Magere, the beach in Busabala, and property in Kamwokya. He challenged Bobi Wine to donate the proceeds to the poor or use the money to build a Universal Primary Education (UPE) school or a hospital. Alien Skin argued that only by taking such actions could Bobi Wine prove his genuine dedication to the welfare of Ugandans.
“Let Bobi Wine first sell his house in Magere, the beach in Busabala, and Kamwokya. Then he can use the money to build a UPE school or a hospital or simply donate to the poor. Only then will we believe he is genuinely striving for change,” Alien Skin asserted in the video, questioning Bobi Wine’s motives in the process.
Alien Skin further expressed his belief that Bobi Wine’s advocacy was not aimed at improving the lives of common Ugandans, but rather, he accused the opposition leader of serving the interests of billionaires. According to the controversial singer, Bobi Wine’s actions were allegedly confusing the average Ugandans and misguiding them about his true intentions.
