Two people have committed suicide by hanging in Adjumani district in the space of three days.
Police have identified the duo as 38-year-old Simon Iceta, a resident of Ciforo, and Stephen Lulu, aged 45 years, a resident of Pachara sub-county.
Adjumani District Police Commander ASP Byamukuma Benon said close family members divulged to police that the deceased persons decided to take away their lives as a result of unresolved grievances related to sharing of family properties.
