On Tuesday, 8th March, Ugandan army chief and First Son made a somewhat shocking revelation, disclosing that he has retired from the national army after over two decades of service- flaring debate on rumoured presidential ambitions.

The 47 year old Muhoozi Kainerugaba used his twitter handle to make the pronouncement which is drawing mix reactions time and again.
In the past days, Ugandans have been asking, “Who will inherit Museveni’s throne?” in the next presidential elections and it seems their questions will be answered soon.

In Lira City, the city blogger and photographer Opio Brian Innocent a.k.a Brashan has come out to say the retired army Camander is his next President after President Y.K Museveni.
According to Brashan, Uganda needs a fresh Mind that puts the Youth a head of every Planning and development and Muhoozi is the possible answer.
He went further citing Lango, “Lango needs a leader like Muhoozi. My Next President after Papa M7. Retiring Commander UPDF land forces Muhoozi.” Branshan’s Opinion posted on Facebook.
